What changed for 2027.
The 2027 Traverse keeps the design that arrived for 2024, along with its turbocharged 2.5-liter engine. The changes are focused on the High Country, the paint list and the Z71's cabin.
Trim
A reworked High Country. New High Country badging on the doors and liftgate, microfiber suede, Tritan Satin finishes inside and out, and a new 22-inch wheel design.
Color
Twilight Blue and Trillium Green. Trillium Green Metallic is offered on all four trims, Twilight Blue on the RS and High Country. Lakeshore Blue and Stardust Metallic leave the list.
Interior
Oregon seats for the Z71. The Z71's Evotex seats now come in Jet Black with Oregon, a natural tan.
Technology
Google Gemini. Chevrolet's AI assistant is now available on the Traverse through Google built-in.
Exterior. Four trims, four looks.
The LT rides on 18-inch machined aluminum wheels, and its Midnight and Sport Editions change the trim and wheels. The Z71 adds a gloss black grille, red tow hooks and 18-inch wheels on all-terrain tires.
The RS goes dark with a blacked-out grille, black badging and 22-inch gloss black wheels. The High Country carries its new badging on the front doors and liftgate, Tritan Satin accents and 22-inch machined-face wheels.

Every 2027 Traverse uses a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder rated at 328 hp and 326 lb-ft, with an eight-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard on the LT, RS and High Country, and all-wheel drive is available on all three. EPA estimates are 22 mpg combined with FWD and 21 with AWD.
The Z71 is all-wheel drive only, with a twin-clutch system, Terrain Mode, Hill Descent Control, off-road suspension and a skid plate, plus 7.8 inches of ground clearance. Trailering equipment comes on every trim, along with Hitch View and Hitch Guidance.
